Your pet’s well-being is a top priority at Paradise Pet Lodge. Their health and comfort will constantly be attended to and monitored during your pet’s stay.
Hanging plants and soothing music playing day and night add to the ambience inside our lodge. Ceiling fans and an outside air exchange system provides our guests with fresh air throughout the day. All our buildings have zone controlled radiant heat in the floors.
Large Dog Enclosures

In 1990, we started with our 50 large dog, private indoor enclosures with full-time access to an outdoor patio area during daylight hours. The inside area is 4’x 6’ with overhead skylights providing natural lighting. The covered outside area being a minimum of 4’x 12’allowing the dogs to be outside without being exposed to our unpredictable Pacific Northwest weather.
In 1994 we added 41 large dog enclosures that surround a waterfall and atrium inside this lodge. All the inside enclosures are 4’x12’. These large inside enclosures accommodate large families and pets that choose to bring in crates and extra large beds. Each enclosure shares a 6’x12’ covered outside patio with two others. Boarders are rotated at separate times throughout the day for some time outside. The patios are cleaned and disinfected between each rotation.
Large Dog Suites

This lodge also includes nine very comfortable and private suites. Each suite is accessed through a sliding glass door. The suites are 8'x11' and each decorated with a different theme. These charming rooms are furnished with a toddler and/or hammock bed, comfy pillows, cushions and rugs. Soft music or televisions are on during the day to provide a quiet, homelike atmosphere for dogs that are not accustomed to a lot of noise and activity. Two of these suites have outside patios for private access throughout the day. Pets staying in the other seven suites get hand walked to their own private area for “potty breaks.”
Small Dog Enclosures

In February of 2000, after listening to our customer’s requests we added 78 small dog enclosures. There are 48; 4’x8’ elevated enclosures with solid privacy barriers on each side. An additional 30, double-decker 4’x 4’ enclosures provide smaller breeds a private, size appropriate space, the lower levels allow security for “fence climbers” and the upper levels offer more comfort to smaller dogs preferring to be eye level to their caretakers.
Several times a day, each dog is taken to a private covered run and allowed an extended period of time outside.

Small Dog Suites
In the summer of 2007 we renovated part of our original large dog buildings and added 6 small dog suites. These private suites have access to a large outside patio area. Entry is made through a sliding glass door into a welcoming environment featuring tiled floors, scenic murals and plush, cozy bedding. These suites are ideal for smaller and/or elderly dogs that are accustomed to their privacy.

Fun Swim

Your dog could enjoy a fun filled swimming session in our warm salt water pool with one of our trained fitness coaches. Depending on your dogs experience we offer either a basic introduction to swimming with lots of encouragement in a secure environment for the first timers, or swimming with tennis balls and water toys for the novice. What a great way to exercise the day away.
